 Weird Search Bug - span class hilite |

When I search the term "test" I get this in my search results...and it gets mixed inbetween some of the html
<span class="hilite">
anyone have this problem? If you google it...you can see that other sites have it too. But they aren't using cutenews...I'm not sure what it is...maybe my server got hacked.

thank you figured it out. It was in search.php removed the entire coding and it works find, also i had to clear my cache.

I've found it's a balance of two things. If you want to use the hilite feature you cannot use hyperlinks in your short-story. It's always in the hyperlinks that it creates the problem. It also does this in the meta tags. So, I've just decided never to use hyperlinks in the short-story, do all the linking in the full story only.
Considering it isn't absolutely necessary to make the search function work, I'm glad you found the code in search.php and figured out how to get yourself going again
