Using PHP or CuteCode in quicktags |
|
In one of my quicktags I would very much like it to automatically enter the current article's user friendly URL, kind of like this:
<div class="onleft"><a href="/display/image/articles/$1.jpg?from=$title"><img src="/i/articles/$1.gif" alt="Image" /></a></div>
("short" mode tag)
The problem is it will just output "$title", and I can't think of any other way to actually make it automatically include the URL for me.
I could in theory just use a more complex tag and then manually copy in the URL from the "optional url" field, but that would be quite a lot of work since I add a lot of articles. Perhaps there is a way to make the quicktags read from that optional url field? (though it doesn't seem to be an xfield so I have no idea how)
Hope somebody can help, and I hope I made the question clear enough.
