It would be great if Cutenewssql/Strawberry could use the "members" tables from scripts like "PHPBB, Invisionboard, vBulletin etc".
Maybe somethinh to work at in the future?

I read that Invision double md5s their password (ref search the page for md5) in case its of any help?
p/s: According to the same reply hence its difficult to integrate Invision with joomla.

I do not know a lot about password coding. But Invision has got a great mod called SDK, it allows you to have a great integration of your forum at your website. It is also possible to have a login box at your site and restrict non members to certain area's of the site when not logged in. Maybe it's possible to use that in some way?
