I am more than willing to help. i really am.
The only thing im concerned of is the fact that CutenewsRU is a system which is used a lot.
And since fi-dd is not here anymore and the support of other important persons is not avaible, my opnion is that the developers of cnr could give some support.
As Chaser allready said, lets give them access to the forum. Only they can help us like fi-dd, ramon and others always did.
It's nice that the developers made new systems. but we still need help with cutenewsRU

Yeah, I think we should all give our best to also help CNRU, as I try my best
too, to help poeple, find bugs and fixes, make more mods, hacks and plugins,
improve the security etc'.. it is already a GREAT cms, but if all of us, that are
using CNRU here will donate what they can, it will get even better, we will help
each other, we can even make a new version of CNRU 2.5.6 or so with all of our
fixes, addons etc'

Well I have some questions:
Do you have any estimates how much time is left before you are able to release an English version?
Do you have a list of features in Strawberry 1.2.0?
Will you provide us with a script to upgrade from CuteNews.RU to Strawberry 1.2.0?
- With cutefields installed?
- With other database changes, like rating, tags, etc.?
And the smilies rock!

The time now I have little (study and work time-consuming).
The documentation, unfortunately, I'm not running. Not to her now.
There is an update for the transition from CuteNewsRu 0.2x at Strawberry 1.2.0 during the installation process (though little tested, in the absence of normal bases from CuteNewsRu).
I do not know about cutefields, but the old xfields remain. Moreover, Ant-Soft redid it to MySQL.
Plus to everything else is working for the news of my own system of additional fields.
Changes in the database is. All changes are performed during the installation (if you're doing the transition from older versions).
ps
And the latest news about Strawberry - is scheduled for release 1.1.9 version - with all updates and changes on the official forum.

How is the development coming along?
I had another look today, and although I still do not understand much of what the script can do (with it being in Russian and all) I still like what I see.
Are you any closer to releasing an English translation, or atleast a partial English translation?

Hello everyone!
Happy New Year!
For the translation into English, I rewrote the storage system and records the languages for the system. Guys, now copy out the root system. a lot of mistakes. Correcting NC (HAU). I'm working on it ....

Hi!
Yes, Strawberry is currently based only on MySQL, except for some minor details and configurations.
In the complete installer for Strawberry is a converter.
If you want to - I can try to convert your database (for one and corrected some mistakes, if they are) and send it back (as a confirmation ...).

Ok! I shall send you this file. But now everyone can make a translation of what they wanted:)
Because I made the same module for the translation.
Works well - we go through the pages - the code is written in the file format sha1 and, in fact, the text itself. This text, we can translate as you like. Although the Chinese. If anyone wants, I can now send an example of such a file.
Just write to me about it to the post office (miksar (a) mail.ru) - and in return I'll send it.
Still, I rewrote the algorithm records for transfer. Now, every sentence is added (that is, each time adding a new line below) in the file, rather than rewriting it completely. I think this is a very reliable method! Moreover, very fast! However, its use on the server must be supported by function eval (). I think experienced programmers already understand the essence of my method.
For the rest We?can - define ();
I also translated the verification code in the session.
