Yes you can... but plugins from cutenews, not work with the strawberry...
Lexa change rules in strawberry
need edit plugin... from work

convert Cutenews to Strawberry
1. Install Strawberry
2. put in folder path/to/convert/02x you old folder data
3. all files *.tmp must be CHMOD 777
3. Enter in you browser http://yoursite.com/path/to/convert/
and run ^)
Old plugins (From CuteNews) dont work with the strawberry becouse Lexa_Zloy change the rulles^
Application must be Strawberry
Filter cutenews-options changed to main-options
$config_name to config['name'].
