What you mean? Admin-panel no. Templates for main page and other page it you work  . But, in default templates for example-page i try made without tables and with CSS.

Well, it is a way for validation but no enough you can let this panel control like is!! no need validate it , but the templates and forms need / plugins, is hard get it for pass in validation XHTML 1.0 strict webstandard 
but man.. It rules anyway )) really great work thanks!!

All this criticism. I have had more fun learning how to use cutenews.ru 2.5.4 than I ever imagined. It has more flexibility than I know what to do with. I'm actually in no hurry to change or upgrade to Strawberry but I'm not going to be able to help myself from playing with it. I look forward to seeing what this has to offer.
Lexa, I only wonder... If your english is so bad.. doesn't it help at all to come here and read writing from people that speak perfect english? I wish I could see in your head to see how this looked to you. I can't criticize, I don't know a single word in Russian. I'd be a complete hypocrite. I'm more than happy that you've done so much work on the projects you have worked on. Is Strawberry gonna get a new forum and domain I'll have to sign up to? hehe. I'm ready!

Unless lexa has other plans I just want to create two new (sub)forums here. "strawberry downloads" and "strawberry help".

i haven't done it so i dont want to say yes but i've read from this thread that you can. the only thing is your plugins dont work. that's why im hesitating just yet

I use about 12 of the the plugins that I would be so lost without haha. I wonder though.. does strawberry have some of the plugins built in? they're all going to need reworked aren't they?

Strawberry comes with a lot of plugins. Some are new (file upload, ad manager, drag'n'drop blocks), some existed as hacks (prev-next-links, watermark) and some old ones you already know from CuteNews.RU. The lost-pass mod is built-in now, for example.
Converting old plugins shouldn't be that hard. Some of the plugin action's/filter's names changed and the configuration is saved in a single variable. That's about it.

In install first step in drop-down choose "EN".
Update: upload news files and new folders in data directory - wathermark, block, attach and tpl. Yeh, templates change. You need update templates hands: change old tags to new (e.g.: {views} on <?=$tpl['post']['views']; ?>)

Very nice!!!
But still a lot of work for me to completely translate it. Unfortunately, I'm very busy at the moment. So it may take some time.
The file uploader and the keywords are brilliant. I didn't have time to check out the rest but it is very promising.
Some bugs I found (I'm using localhost so this might cause the problems):
1. I get a small error when I add a keyword: above the list of keywords appears a textarea showing this:

After completely reloading the page the textarea is gone and everything is working fine.
2. Watermark is not working for me - the pictures are not merged.
3. I can rate a post but it still shows "rating: 0".
What about shadows for images and size of thumbnails in pixels instead of percent? Do you plan to add it? And I think small preview images in images.mdu and watermark.php are very important to the users, too.

2. Yeh, i know . Wathermark image not work for me too.
3. You use Default template from 1.1.1? You use cache?
