Well, there are 2 big disadvantages when you convert to strawberry.

1. The plugins won't work. Mad

2. Updating the English language was stopped in strawberry 1.0.1. That means some new features in version 1.0.2 are not translated into English.

So in my opinion releasing strawberry 1.0 and especially 1.0.2 was the beginning of the end of this fantastic news script (English version).

As far as I can tell CuteNews.RU 2.5.4 will be the last version which was fully translated into English. Sad

Btw, why do you Russian guys give the script an English name and then you stop supporting the English language? Confused

Anyways, it's just my opinion but I'm quite sad about the last things you did with the script. Crying or Very sad

My english veeeery bad. And if i write something, e.g. plugin neet be write and english words. It very slow and hard. And it the compelled measure. Sorry.

I think "Strawberry" it very funy world. CuteNews.RU not funy more for me. 1 year i write/rewrite CuteNews and AJ-Fork and it name as voice in mind: "....... more more ......." Smile. Not good.

What to say ..

You were better then original cutenews, and now you made it all go down .

I was almost ready to use your script, it needed only few more corrections..

What to say, good project went down.

lexa nice work, till now, btw why did you call it english name and then stop supporting, no sence at all...

Well I will start working my own CMS now, cause CuteRu and Strawberry was not serious enough ... Sad

I never supported the English version for the simple reason - I do not know English. This text I write in Russian and I hope for normal translation through the program.

And has stopped to support the English version it radically not truly. No. I have simply cleaned a folder with English language from the distribution kit. Because not in a condition adequately to make to it changes.

"cause CuteRu and Strawberry was not serious enough" You have in view of the name or the project? Unimportantly. I always did that considered it necessary also interesting. CuteNews. RU became to me not interesting, I have asked to think up the new name and have chosen Strawberry.

You vainly think, that this word does not have alternative in Russian Smile. It still has and some values (not connected with the name of fruit). But for domain Strawberry it good name, i think.

If you are this good at scripting, how come you suck at English? I honestly believe that when you are able to create something like cutenewsql, you must be above average when it comes to intelligence. So maybe english classes are something for you Smile This script has great potential, offering it only to people who speak Russian would be a shame Sad

Thank you.

To know it is a little words in English and to be able to write/read it different things. Unfortunately.

I, certainly, can return a folder with English language, but, I am afraid, it not an output. When there are new versions there most likely there will be also new files for translation.

I am assured, that I shall think up as to solve a problem, some time is just necessary.

I didn't really want this to be my first post on the forums, but ... (please feel free to skip the first two parts):

I first started using Cutenews properly during its 1.3.5 version and was fairly active on the Cutephp forums around that time. However, I then discovered AJ-Fork and naturally fell in love with it. Development stopped and although I was disappointed, I found I could still easily utilise what was available on the sites I wanted to create using Fork, so mohican/mosey was pretty happy.

Naturally I wanted to continue to see what Cutephp had to offer, but unfortunately Cutenews 1.3.6 and it's subsequent successor 1.4.1 has not quite matched upto what I expected of the second generation of the script. I haven't really visited the forums on Cutephp recently, until today when I chanced upon a thread asking what Cutenews.ru was all about (courtesy FI-DD). I can't begin to describe how excited I was to find something that combined both Cutenews *and* AJ-Fork still being actively developed.

Strawberry all in Russian has of course totally confused me, and it's only when I visited this thread that I understood what it was about. I'm sorry to hear that the English version is no longer being supported, despite it currently not supporting Cutenews plugins I would be interested in finding out more about it's features nonetheless. I don't speak/read/write Russian myself, but I'm sure I could attempt to coerce a friend or two to translate it for me in bits. In the meantime, I will (like most people I imagine?) start to use Cutenews.RU.2.5.4. I'm really looking forward to re-learning and learning about how to use this script (based on the CN experience) so would like to thank the developers (and translators where applicable) for making it available to evyer

Greetings again.

I wish to tell about version 1.1. It will leave already with English language. Now I shall add readme and I shall send fail on translation. There it is a lot of text, therefore I do not know, whether we shall be in time to an output 1.1 to translate all.

If it is fair, I would like to let out 1.1 start fro the version alfa, then beta and only then either release or release the candidate.

I shall try to let out the stable version.

Greetings again guys. Summer - the activity for me Smile. I have sent files on translation when to me them will send then I shall lay out Strawberry with Russian and English languages.

Changes/additions concerning 1.0.4 23 items (rather 2.5.4 it is even more). I hope, you will like this version.

P.S. If the version is pleasant we shall try to translate the documentation (it is the second attempt, last time it was not possible). And I very much hope that we we shall try to get wiki. To tell the truth, not we, but you since English at me very bad, and Russian users have bothered me Smile.
