It's because the function imageftbbox() is not working on your server.

Okidoki...
The captcha is working well, allthough not always.
Sometimes i still get this message repeatly
 | | Please enter the numbers from the image.

And i discovered when this happend.
When you have your urls and paths in the 'System configuration' like this:
http://mywebsite.com/cutenews
http://mywebsite.com/news.php
And so on... Without the WWW and you go to your website with this url in your browser http://www.mywebsite.com/
I won't be able to place a comment. When i change the url http://www.mywebsite.com/ into http://mywebsite.com/ without the www like it is in the Sytem Configuration suddenly i'm able to place a comment and won't get the message again to enter the numbers.
And suddenly cn.ru recoqnize that i was logged too as the admin, so i didn't have to fill name, email...
How can this be solved. I changed the urls in the systenconfig with the WWW but i think there are many users who will visit the site without the WWW and they wont be able to place a comment then.

Put this in your .htaccess file and everything from yoursite.com will be redirected to w ww.yoursite.com:
| | RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^yoursite.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.yoursite.com/$1 [L,NE,R=permanent] |

* But the spam issue... everything is working with the captcha, add more and more spam words in the spam list... but the spam is still filling the guestbook unfortunately. Why on earth does these spam exist anyway as nobody is interested in those stupid messages. Damn spammers!

I agree totally I've thought long and hard about how to make that happen for him but I can't come up with anything.  FI-DD I know you're always reminded but you're one smart mother effer.
