same site in 2 or more different languages |
|
My site is in swedish and I wonder how do I manage to make another language for example english. I use cnr with Mysql and I prefer not using the same tables holding swedish data for my english articles. How can I solve that in a good way?

Tricky, dunno.. But if I were you I wouldn't mind having English and Swedish articles in one database.. You can add a catagory named "English" and if you want separate English catagories you can add them as subcatagories..
Something like this(i just made up a few catagories, so it's more clear where i'm getting at )
 | | Swedish

thank you Ramon,
it's an effective way to solve this problem if it's only two languages with a few subcategories... but what happens if you have more than two languages? It will be along list of categories/subcat... I wonder if the administrator can add a table for languages in Mysql? the same way you add articles today is a way to have possibility to tackle the language problem. am I wrong?
