 PHP Traffic Inspector |

Kinda unrelated cutenews question. I just wondered if any of you guys knew of a good PHP program for viewing your traffic and stats? I've been using statcounter.com but I hate that it only stores for a few days, then truncates off. I don't care if it's flat file or MySQL.

Don't know if my computer is the reason but I think the admin panel is quite slow with all the javascript stuff.

I always liked AWSTATS, but I don't know if you can install it yourself if it's not available from your host...

It is kinda slow (Google Analytics) but it's much more detailed and holds more data than statcounter. What annoyed me was that I installed it and it took literally like 10-20 minutes before it started tracking. I guess that's not bad though, once it's done it's done. I never saw AWSTATS before that looks sweet. Now I'm torn.

It's free and open source so yeah it can be installed by anyone.

Ooh that's another nice one too. I'm kinda leaning towards AWSTATS if analytics doesn't work out. I asked on another forum (tizag.com) and they had the same answers haha it was funny. They said analytics or awstats.
