Before uploading any image that error is already displayed, also with only that image. Could you please test with the image I add to this post?

I'm testing this all at localhost (Appserv 2.4.1 which has PHP 4.3.8 ), tomorrow when I hopefully have some more time I'll upload the script to a site to test, to see if it makes any difference...

I quickly uploaded to site (PHP 4.4.4) and installed, now I get less errors before uploading an image;

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: exif_read_data() in [domainname removed]public_html/cnr/inc/mod/images.mdu on line 699

When trying to upload exif.jpg, image is uploaded (I can see through ftp), but is not visible in manage images dialog...

I meant FI-DD, I asked him if he could his script on his server/site with an image of mine (although I think it has nothing to do with the images, since I get the error before even uploading an image and only viewing the manage images dialog)...

Well, it seems that each camera creates different exif-information. I had to change the code to make it work with your photo.

Please try again with the updated function:

It doesn't seem to make any difference, could you please give me your version of images.mdu to see if I did anything wrong there? I also want to point out again that I get those errors, before uploading the images already.

THNX again for your help!

Well, this works immediately, but your version is 41 kb, while mine is 24 kb (from original zip even 23 kb), what is different in those versions?

THNX!

Hmm, as I had version 2.5.4. I thought I had the latest version, but apparently just two files have been modified. Oh well, now we now why it didn't work.

THNX so much for all your help, unfortunately I don't really have time at this moment so I'll continue with it on, but I'll be sure to show the final result!

THNX again!
