Hey FI-DD, I still don't understand how to modify the stars... lol I'd much rather start using this rating script.

I don't know exactly what you want to modify but take a look at step #5 of the instructions. You can define the number and the size of the stars. There are 3 sizes of stars coming with the download. So just select a size and define it in the template.

Try again with a fresh copy of the script and the plugin.

Well... the old rating system used 0.gif, 1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, 4.gif, 5.gif and I could play in mspaint/pbrush and make my own stars.. I would just search something like:
http://images.google.com/images?imgsz=icon&um=1&hl=en&safe=off&q=4+out+of+5&btnG=Search+Images
Then get some new stars.. some copy and paste magic and boom I have a whole new set of 0-5.gif files for my star ratings...
This new version, I cannot doodle my own stars in mspaint/pbrush so I feel completely lost. I understand you can change the size of these stars but I hate the way they look.. for example, the small stars are too small, the large stars are large and always look goofy. I just want to be able to make my own stars lol
I guess I'm being picky about cosmetics  the code is perfect.

I have solved the issue I had, but now when I click on the star to vote,it doesnt make effect and it redirects me to my home page. Please check my site:Site and click on any title news,then you can see the stars to vote.

If i turn cache on(in head.php) the {rating-middle} and the stars are updated when i click on them. But later it shows from cache and doesn't show my rate, so i can rate again and again... How can i fix this problem? I want to use cache...
