I seem to have a problem with this plugin

I have it installed as per instructions.
It shows on my page as dark blue oblong until I roll over it then It shows the stars.
when I rate the story it does not save anything as rated

please have a look and see if you can work it out. the code is only in the head of my full story page.

I also seem to have suddenly got a "{" just below the google banner

so goto link below and click read more on the short isting

Hey, how do I change the stars? It's confusing compared to how I used to do it with the original rating system.

Yesitsfree that's not a script problem. Rather you should check / update your css to fix the color that shows on that type of element.

As far as it showing as a blue box.

(The rest you will have to fix the script)

I have now taken it off the live site and will try and get it to work on a page with no css that could interfere with it.
Thanks all.

Is there any way to make the stars to remain the same, (once already voted) when the user enters on a page?

For example, John rates an article 4 out of 5 on the morning, and on the afternoon he enters the same web again, and when he see the same news, the stars remain showing 4 out of 5, and are not in blank.

See ya!

PD: Sorry for my english

I'm using the latest version of firefox. I see the rating stars but no ratings are displayed and I cannot add ratings. (This is on the example site)

Anyone planning on fixing this for firefox?

Just noticed the ratings on the example site don't work for me using firefox IE or Opera.

Why does this only seem to work for certain people?

i think what happens is if installed on a server that can handle this script.. it will work for all.. but if installed for a person that doesn't have the proper server settings.. it will not work as desired.. i can use this script and run it on many different computer scenarios just fine.. i'm mostly a firefox person.. but i do have about 10 computers and none have trouble with my sites.

I have a couple of questions:

What am I doing wrong with the css. It looks perfect in Firefox but the stars seams to fall down to far in IE. Look at http://www.xpl.se/ to see what I mean.
Theres an error as well when voteing with IE. It works perfectly with firefox. Could anyone help me out?

And one more thing: )

Is it possible to show the avrage result with stars instead of numbers? But not votable so to speak. So that you would have to go to the "main news" to cast your actuall vote.
Otherwise is an awsome script/addon!

Edit: Managed to solve the style issue but theres still no voting using IE. : (
Could anyone please help me out?
