Hi every one, I'm in a new project and I think that CuteNews is nice and very flexible, but I have some display issues. (I have large experince in CMS, I made a big one and is nice to see some of my ideas here in CuteNews... no my ideas any more)
1. Weel I need to show in the index page 10 news, the first 3 using one layout, the next 2 other and so on... We found one plug-in "Template for alone news" and this one is one way to do that, but is the best way?
2. We need to add some pictures to every news, the best way is upload the imagen then put the URL in a CuteFields (xFiels), can we have a fast upload image from the news form?
3. In the next example you can find at the end of the page an array of boxes with news from every channel/category any adeas how do that?
4. Finally we need to mix CNR (News) and RingSide (Social) to make our project, but we need to mix users, that is the major problem rigth now...

You can include show_news.php as many times as you need.. just specify which $template you want to use each time you want it to change for your news. Watch out for pagination though.. that's why a lot of times I'll have a template called something like 'template1' and then 'template1-nopages' or in other wodrs, one version with pagination and one without.

I've asked and I think we'd all love to have a browse and upload button right next to the {avatar} spot but it must be too hard to do cause I don't know how to do it.. and no one else has done it yet either.. although because of the same frustartion you're feeilng in this scenario is the same reason I made the Framed Cutenews.ru.. it has 4 upload fields on the left so you can easily upload screenshots and paste them into your {avatar} field.

I'm not sure what you mean by that

I don't know what RingSide is and I don't know what you mean by mix users.
