 | | The question is when will one of you start hacking code? Smile |
Probably as soon as you stop helping us.. but I shouldn't say that haha. I'm trying as hard as I can to catch up to your brain.. I work at it everyday.. I'm still in the 'watch me break the code instead' phase.

 | | But is IP banning such a powerful feature for you? I mean here in Germany about 95% of the users have a dynamic IP. So if you ban me today I will be able to comment tomorrow again. |
So what's the point with IP banning? Do the spammers have static IPs? I doubt it.
Edit:
IP banning is available now.

actually I have a few ip-adresses in my ban section that have been blocked several times. maby it's not the best way to keep spamers away, but it works a little bit.
thanks for the edit, i will try it when i come home.

It will slow some of it down and make me have to spend 10 minutes instead of 20 to checkbox all the spam. I noticed many multiple instances of spam from the same IP. Most the time you're right, seems like random IP's for every spam obviously sometimes from the same person.
p.s. thanks for the update
