 Improved image manager |
 |
This is an improved version of the existing image manager.
Features:- Possibility to define the width of the thumb in pixels
- Possibility to add a shadow to the thumb
- Sort the images alphabetically or chronologically
- Small preview pictures next to each image
- Some small cosmetical fixes
- Choose image align
- Watermark (text and/or image)
Installation:
Copy images.ini to inc/lang/en
Copy images.mdu to inc/mod
Copy your watermark images (.jpg) and/or your watermark TrueTypeFonts (.ttf) to the data/watermark folder
If you want to open the images in popups you have to copy popup.js in the same folder as your news page and you have to put this in the <head> tags of your news page: <script type="text/javascript" src="./popup.js"></script>

Greetings! You - well done!!! But I think, that the "gif" a format would be better than "jpeg" for watermark. And it seems to me for thumbs are not obligatory watermarks... Also watermarks can be removed from edges...
Whether probably it to realize? p.s. I am sorry for my English

Well you can use that option or not 
I make my big pages with Watermark, so you can upload it, make thumb.
Great that you make upgrades so fast, NICE WORK !
Can you please add 1 more addon !
This one would be realy cool, donno what others think. Cute uploads pictures to same directory, that can be realy tricky. Cause for example if I test few components, example. I test 1 cooler named TT Sonic Tower, and I test 10 coolers, where is also TT Sonic Tower, but I use different pictures, but I could name them same, that would be problem.
Is there way to set 2 ways of saving made pictures. Thumb and Big one ? So ppl can choose where to save ? Offcourse that dir should be CHMOD-ed to 777, but who would like to use will know that.
Example: My page is www.2crowded.com but I want my pictures to www.2crowded.com/slike-clanci/X (X is directory for exactly article I Want) ...
So Is there possibility to make dir for article and to choose where it will be ?
I know that this is not so easy, but this PLUGIN would rock.
Overall it would be realy great, we would be able to put pictures wherever we want and we would have easy access to it over this image plugin and there would be Cute option to save where Cute path for pictures is ! So who want advanced could do it, who doesn't he can just use Cute option.
Well if not to this image plugin, maybe for advanced one.
Think about it pls.

Update:
I improved the image-align dropdown box a little bit and added a message when there is no image/font in the watermark folder.

this is really nice but is there some way you can make a script that does like in the original cutenews, gives the opertunity to crop the thumbnails so you get them in a fixed size..?

possible to add a opertunity to add padding and margin to images when you insert them into the news. like this:
style="padding: 5px;" or style="margin: 5px;"
also great if you could choose if the padding/margin should be at the top, bottom, right or left
its not a problem to add this code when im writhing news, its just that it would be easyer if we could choose this when inserting images

Whenever I try to set the image: align of an image that I'm inserting into news I always get this error.
uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property HTMLDocument.forms
This happens in FF and IE7.

Suggestions for future versions (based on your Cutenews script)
- can you add the V and H spacing, just like in cutenews?
- also, if I'm in not in the Main folder, if I choose the alignment, it gets me to the Main folder, and I have to navigate again..
- option to insert thumb or image by choice.
I must really get on your nervs FI-DO
