Admin panel -> Main -> backup (the link is below system check/statistics)

Download the backup and import it using phpmyadmin.

You have to use phpmyadmin because CuteNews.RU doesn't have an import function.

does that mean you can't use the 'convert' option for transferring your existing cutenews.ru information like when you upgrade from standard cutenews to this cutenews?

You can convert Cutenews to CuteNews.RU, CuteNews.RU (txtSQL) to CuteNews.RU (MySQL) using the script.

And you can backup your MySQL database using the script. But you have to restore your MySQL database using phpmyadmin because CuteNews.RU doesn't have an import function.

Go to phpmyadmin, select your database in the dropdown on the left, click on "Import" in the main window, press the browse button, browse to your backup file and press "Go". That should be it.

Strange. Confused

Anyway, click on SQL and copy and paste the content of the backup file into the window. Then click on OK.

I never tested it but it might work too.

If you are using cpanel, just log into the cpanel and download the mysql db. Then when you switch host, and hopefully the host has cpanel, should most do, just upload the backup file and it should worl.
