image rollovers not working |
|
this isn't really a bug or error i dont think but for forum organizational purposes i wanted to let you know of my current trouble. i've been trying to do image rollovers in my active news and full story and stuff ya know.. they dont work though. they work everywhere else on my page though but it seems when they are in my templates they dont work. it just shows the first image ya know? like image1.gif is original and image2.gif does something crazy.. only image1.gif shows up. it's cool i can work around that for a while but here's my code maybe it's something to do with this. i never had trouble with it before though and i dont think that i ever tried with the original cutenews so i dont remember it being a problem in that one or not. it would be real slick if i could do that too though.
here's my code that doesn't work but normally does haha:
<a href="{link=home/post}" style="text-decoration: none"><img border="0" src="rateblank.gif" id="fpAnimswapImgFP14" name="fpAnimswapImgFP14" dynamicanimation="fpAnimswapImgFP14" lowsrc="rate6.gif" width="61" height="58"></font></a>
rateblank.gif is http://www.itsgamertime.com/rateblank.gif and rate6.gif is http://www.itsgamertime.com/rate6.gif if you want to see how they go together it probably is real self explanatory as soon as you see them. has anyone else experience this problem with their templates or know a work around?
here's the site so far, it looks pretty slick.

whatcha think?

So when you hover over the first image you want to see the second image? You could use CSS for it.

css for image rollovers? honestly i dont know how to utilize css. im gonna look it up and read about it right now though it's been something i've wanted to learn. if that solves my problem them that's great. css makes styles and templates much easier/convenient doesn't it?
