LOL...I know ajfork isn't even being worked on for like 4 years now and full of bugs. I'm surprised I haven't been hacked yet. And there's some really bad hacks up out there just googling ajfork. So I have some questions.

1) Is it possible to convert the txt to the mysql? I have like 10 installations of ajfork though...how would I add all them news.txt to the mysql?

2) I have like 3000 news, this script won't slow down my website right? I get like 2000 unique visitors per day.

1. Did you already try it with one news.txt? I don't know for sure but it might work.

2. I'm not sure about that either: http://forums.cutenewsru.com/site-slowing-down-considerably-t2316.html

Yea it did work, all the conversions went fine when I converted. Just the news though no comments, xfields, archives etc.

About the server load, I'm not sure yet, I just finished changing the entire site. I'll have to wait a few days. I use to get like 10,000 visitors a day, but i didn't work on the site for 2 years...lol. That's why I had 10 installations of ajfork because the txt file was getting way too big. Mysql is at 1.5mb right now with 2600 news. That's not much, I got a forum where mysql is I think 2 gigs already.

I'm really impress with what you got here. Everything is working better than ajfork, more secure a lot faster too with one installation. Best News, CMS program I have ever used.[/u]
