How to integrate scripts into .mdu file or create a plugin? |
|
Hi,
I am trying to integrate some other 3rd party Open Source scripts into CuteRU 2.5, like a file management, gallery and etc. but been having difficulties trying to built it into a .mdu file or creating a plugin. Will there be any dev docs available for this?
I think this is a great solution than re-inventing the wheel when there are so many great scripts out there to use but on it's own it lacks many functionality and can only really extent this by bridging them together to create something closer to what one wishes.
Also i think having dev docs may encourage others to further contribute to an already nice functional script.
thank you,
S
-- EDIT ---
The first thing i want to integrate is Quixplorer: http://quixplorer.sourceforge.net
This is a powerful file management where you can use it like and FTP but thru a web browser. It's great when you need to quickly edit a file or upload/download files. Yes, edit files! as it has a built-in capability to view, edit and save files.
Do check it out. Installataition is real easy too.

Grab some plugin and look how the some frist beginning lines are made, I think that You will understand it very soon. And about that plugin, You must watch out, and be very careful. Some time ago eruin ( ? ) rewite plugin from wordpress for server management, and I thnik that asking him for it would be better option

it'll be stupid to integrate the professional file manager into the script for newbies...
better way is to use it standalone
