 How to get category id from article |

I want to know in which category is article when i click on full story.
To get id or name of category

Why don't you use {category} in your full story template?

I just want on page where are all articles from one category (category page) to show diferent layout.
And need to know in which category am i.
if($cat='news'){
show news design
}
if($cat='cars'){
show cars design
}
$ucat is avelible only on full story and $category is not avelible
