Hi i have a new suggestion about cutenews.



See this foto because a foto = 1000 words.







It would be great to have a something like this because more users = more page views = MONEY.

try [if-logged] and [/if-logged]



I don't know if that works in stories. Else you could make a downloadlink xfield. And use it as the following in your template.



[code]{full-story}[if-logged]<br /><a href="[xfvalue_downloadlink]">Download!</a>[/if-logged]

it would be better to be a plugin that do such a thing.





All users that use cutenews script are not pro with php. Wink



I have seen this method at datalife engene 5.

Who says you need any knowledge to achieve this. It's as simple as I explaned before, you just need to turn the xfield plugin on. I'm sure anyone without PHP knowledge will be able to find out how. Else they should'nt be making websites Wink

I just tested this, and I can confirm that [if-logged] and [/if-logged] works in stories. But I guess that if you use RSS, and add this to the short story, it will be included as plain text in it.

Nope, if you are not logged in it wont show what's between [if-logged] and [/if-logged] in RSS
