I don't know how helpful it will be, but here's something
nice for your site 
AddThis website : Link
Choose your button's look and type (there are also rss buttons)
then click "Get the Code", and just copy paste the code you get
into your template, in the wanted place, it will insert the button/s
which when hovered or clicked - will let your users the options
to save your page in various ways (favorites, delicious..)
or share it (facebook, twitter, myspace, mail to a friend etc')
A very useful tool, you can also customize it (make your
own button, choose only certain options, translation and more)
