Post differences between xfields and cutefields? Reply with quote
I had started to work on a website some months ago which was put on hold. Now I'm thinking in working again in it and I just saw in the additional downloads something called cutefields?

So whats the differences between xfields and cutefields?

By the way do you recommend a creation of a whole site where it uses 10 - 20 xfields or cutefields in one page?

JUST NOTICED THAT THIS QUESTION PROBABLY SHOULD HAD BEEN POSTED ON THE HELP ZONE. SORRY

They work almost identically.. not 100% identically but that's because 2 different authors coded each.. The MAIN difference is simple:
XFields = Flat File (txt database)
CuteFields = MySQL Smile

I always try to use CuteFields instead now. It looks more stable for the longevity of a website. Especially when you're going to be using 10-20 custom fields! Definitely CuteFields. Oh I just re-read what you asked.. well it can't hurt to use 10-20! You can have as many as you like. You'll probably have less future problems if you do it with CuteFields. That's what I should have said Razz
