 Cutenews.RU is better then Wordpress: The Freakin' Best! |

Yo people.
I've been using blogs to write my daily funny news stories, like funny video's, pictures and real life news. Anyway I recently moved from CuteNews.com script.
It was a long process (because I didn't know much) and the conversation kinnda stuffed up some writings (but too easy to fix, I'll tell ya on bottom).
Anyway wanted to say cutenews.RU is absolutely unreal, especially with the fact of how much you can customize the look. Whether creating corporate style, or hobby style, I love it's all possible. Also .html friendly links without .htaccess makes it even more favorable.
By all facts, .RU version is king compared to cutenews.com version, I'm very glad I switched.
Hmm what else... I also think it's better then Wordpress because it's simpler, yet offers equal control over comments/posts, and moreover is more customizable.

If you'll convert from cutenews.com to cutenews.ru, after you do, you'll realize that some ' and " may be stuffed up. All ya do is edit story.MYD, and do a search-replace of stuffed up chars with the proper html code for ' and "

I'm with you 100% on that. It's only a matter of time before tons of people catch on to this thing. It's so amazing. Because of it's power I am consumed with thoughts all day long of "what can I do with cutenews.ru next?" It almost seems as if it has endless possibilities. I tried wordpress one time for about 1 hour before I realized I hated it. I didn't enjoy it at all! Wordpress is like what Microsoft would do if they got their hands on cutenews.ru

When it comes down to customization, Cuteru is awesome. but I think Wordpress have features that Cuteru is lacking. I use both and I like them both.
I hope people catch on with this aswell. We need more usefull plugins. The ones we got is good, but we need more. So coders, keep up the good work!

wordpress is specially used by only those who wanna make website but doesnt have any idea of html or designing. simply install wordpress from fantastico and start blogging..
but CuteNews.RU its totally flexible for any web developers. words are not enough to thank the team of cutenews.ru

CuteNews.RU is more of a DIY kind of CMS. If you know what you are doing you can do just about anything with CNR.

Yes, and it's that that I love about it. It keeps people from making really awful websites with this script. The web is flooded with wordpress and other sites just using popular CMS's so they can have a website. If someone takes the time to figure out how to make a nice site with CNR it seems they actually intend to use it, customize it, and keep it up-to-date just because they spent so much time getting it just how they wanted it.
I suppose it isn't for everyone. But, for those that have figured it out.. I haven't seen seen anyone dissatisfied.
Does that make cutenews.ru a love it or hate it CMS?
