Some of the changes:- security issues fixed
- optimized code to reduce database queries
- bug in backup of the data folder is fixed
- fixed some bugs in categories, cache, URLs
- ability to backup the MySQL database
- ability to convert from txtSQL to MySQL
- ability to convert from MySQL to txtSQL
- automatic upgrade
- remote headlines added
- search by category and date
- highlighting of search results
- meta_tags plugin added
- meta_keywords plugin added
- all templates are moved to data/tpl
- when you remove a category all its "children" are also removed
- original image manager replaced with the improved image manager
Attract your attention to the fact that all templates are moved to data/tpl!
Better before installation create directory data/tpl with chmod 777.
Upgrading to version 2.5 and above:- Make a backup of your old installation (to be on the safe side)
- Unzip the download file to a temporary directory
- Remove the data folder and the install folder from this temporary directory
- Upload everything to your old installation
- Log in as admin - the script will automatically update your installation

I have it translated, at least I had  I also translated all other help files. I will just search my HDD for it.
edit:
FI-DD check your mail, I've mailed it for you some time ago ( I saw my log from mail program ). Now I don't now, I can't find it.

I replaced the original inc/mysql.class.php with a version provided by DiGiTAL.
This fixed the problems when importing users.

does anyone can POST / PM / EMAIL ( blueyez_09@yahoo.com ) the files tranaslatetd in english ? only the files that need to be translated

The whole script is in English.

change:
include rootpath.'/data/'.$template.'.tpl';
to:
include rootpath.'/data/tpl/'.$template.'.tpl';

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Xfield gave a whole new level of article control in Cutenews, they would do the same thing here.

It's plugins/tepmplate-for-news.php and it's already fixed in the CuteNews.RU 2.5 download file.

you guys are faster than the speed of light
i'm currently working on a dutch version of the script
with ajax user-manual and tinymce + imagebrowser implented.
(this because i use the script for my clients to use, and they are mostly not confident with computers and html)
most of this stuff is hard coded.
so when i relaese this, maybe it can be integrated.
we'll see.
I'll at least let you know when the dutch file is ready
